At Christ Redeemer Church, children are an important part of our community. One reason for this is that we have a lot of them, but more importantly, we value our children because we believe they are a gift from God (Ps. 127:3) and they help us learn more about the kingdom of God (Matt. 19:14).
Foundations
We have a Foundations Hour at 9:15 a.m. for children ages 4 through 5th grade. During this time, kids will learn the different parts of worship. To help them participate, we’ve added worship symbols to our slides and bulletins—these are the same symbols the kids are learning in class.
Children’s Church
We have Children’s Church for ages 4-6 during the sermon portion of our worship service. The curriculum used is The Gospel Project, which studies the entire Bible in 3-year cycles. Please check your child in before the service. Older children will receive special bulletins with space for notes or a place to draw the main idea of the sermon. Kids who complete these can see Leanne after the service for a small treat.
Nursery
We offer childcare during for ages 0-3. For parents who do not wish to have their child in the nursery and need to step away during worship, there is a cry room where the service is livestreamed.
First time visitors should check-in at the infant/toddler room. Once you are in our system you can use self check-in by the restrooms. Please label the diaper bag and ALL items that may be used. Name tags should have a parent’s cell phone number in case contact is needed.
